Who We Are?
Team Anandadhara is an amalgamation of “15” families who are making an effort to create a neighbourhood (para) atmosphere in the heart of Netherlands. The sudden passions, the cheerful chaos, the warmth of genuine humanity - ,a place of belonging ! A neighbourhood is a sum of its people ,and we would like to welcome you all to build it and experience home .

Taking a cue from these famous lines of Tagore, we team “ Anandadhara” have set out on a mission to revive those simple joys of life.
Our Mission
Far away from family and friends it is a daunting task to find your own, establish an identity ,to be acknowledged for who you are. It is like building up from scratch ,and in between that struggle and an attempt to strike a balance between cross border cultures , there is an emptiness of being away from home. We realized this void can only be filled up if we start building a home away from home. The aspiration is to integrate like minded people and give each other an opportunity to communicate, collaborate and celebrate ; to know each other ,to share and help,multiply the happiness and divide the sorrows ; to identify the simple joys of life and make the most of it. What better way to give this a start ,than to come together to celebrate the most favourite festival of all – Durga pujo. Apart from getting to know each other and extend our contacts, we wish to create, a platform for entrepreneurs to showcase their ventures , a recognition for the newbies to reach out to people. With our vision to revive the simple joys of life, during the event ,we want to create an opportunity for all to reinvent their talents and share the same with a wider audience, to explore the forgotten avenues .. The IT Analyst who was once a poet, the dance exponent who is debating with her child on classical or hip-hop, the singer whose voice now gets tired after hours of meeting conversations , the artist ,who can only express ideas through his/her child’s class assignments would now all get an opportunity to relive their childhood , their own “para” moments. Towards the end, we grow as one big family , and develop a sense of belonging in this new surrounding.

Our Vision
Anandadhara also intends to spread happiness with a cause.While we encourage you all to realize and experience the simple joys of life, we intend to spread the same among the lesser privileged lot. In this regard , we intend to extend our support to NGOs who work towards providing education and healthcare to underprivileged children .Our members are already involved with the likes of Rupee for Humanity, Ramkrishna Misson in India and Stichting Armoedefonds in the Netherlands, and by organizing social and cultural events we aim to gather funds for further contributions. Anandadhara bohichhe bhubane…we need to realize ,imbibe and feel it.
